That's all from our side. See you soon.
Asghar collects the trophy and the whole team joins him for the photograph.
Asghar Afghan: I think the wicket was good but our batsmen played some poor shots. Super Over is a different experience. Youngsters came up good, today we gave an opportunity to Qais and Naveen too showed his talent. Thanks to everyone who came to watch us.
Gurbaz: Definitely there were good matches but we were well prepared for that. If you have seen our players, Nabi, Rashid, Mujeeb and Asghar, I have learnt a lot from them. The captain and coach gave me a role and I played according to that,
Rahmanullah Gurbaz is the Man of the Series.
O'Brien: Going into the Super Over, needing eight or nine against the best bowler in the world is not easy. Luckily that last hit came off. We are starting to build a strong squad, we are trying to have No. 7, 8, 9 who can go from the first ball. We have learnt from game 1 to game 3, about specific plans for each player. You have to adjust quickly and I think we did.
Kevin O'Brien is the Player of the Match.
Andy Balbirnie: A great game of cricket. We showed great fight and character. Craig Young was brilliant, he bowled brilliant Super Over as well. Last couple of months we have beaten West Indies away and now Afghanistan away. It's a great win for the team. You can only learn by being out there and our guys I think have done that.
Time for the presentation ceremony.
5.45pm What a seesawing game we have had! Even in the Super Over, the balance shifted from one side to the other with Kevin O'Brien eventually sealing it with a six against Rashid Khan off the last ball. This is Ireland's first win over Afghanistan in last 13 T20Is.
Three needed from one, two for another Super Over. Kevin O'Brien on strike
PR Stirling lbw b Rashid Khan
Paul Stirling and Kevin O'Brien come out for Ireland. Who else but Rashid with the ball. It was Rashid in first place who had helped Afghanistan tie the scores in the main game. Can he deliver with the ball now?
A brilliant effort by Young to restrict Afghanistan to only eight. Ireland need nine to win. If the Super Over is also tied, we have a second Super Over
Rahmanullah Gurbaz run out
Two balls left, Afghanistan have just 5 on the board
5.20pm At one stage it looked an easy win for Afghanistan but Simi Singh brought them back with two strikes in two balls. However, with 16 needed from the last over, Rashid Khan helped Afghanistan tie the score. Stay tuned for the Super Over.
