9:30pm That is all we have from tonight, thank you for joining us and see you soon for the second T20I.

Soumya Sarkar: (translated) When the batters get a good start, it makes things easier. Dropped a catch but was annoyed, but I'm getting back into the groove and will be doing better.

Soumya Sarkar is the Player of the Match.

Mahmudullah: It was pleasing to see how the batters performed, especially up front, Liton and Tamim. The wicket was a bit tacky but the batters looked real good. The batsmen applied their strengths. We can't be complacent, we're playing good cricket, but we've to be consistent enough.

Sean Williams: Obviously winning the toss tonight was a good thing for us. We missed our lengths when we bowled. Partnerships again at the top of the order let us down. Those partnerships are crucial for us and probably would have got us close. Chasing 200 is a lot of pressure but we should think carefully about the shot salections we make. It's a simple fix. I mean, myself, I hit a full toss down square leg's throat. It's just sometimes when things go wrong, they keep going wrong.

9:13pm Big win for Bangladesh and it's their batsmen who have delivered it today. Not ideal in the second half with the ball, but they'd done enough to blow Zimbabwe out of the competition by then. No scores from Zimbabwe's senior batsmen and despite playing on a good surface, they were never going to get close to 200 without contributions from them. Wickets for Mustafizur and Aminul, who also happened to be among the most expensive bowlers for them. But wickets are currency in this format, and there were others who kept it sufficiently tight. A cocktail of bowling types, this team, and they consistently troubled Zimbabwe.

Mustafizur Rahman to Mumba, OUT, taken at long-off and Bangladesh are into the lead in the series. Cutter at a length in the corridor, looks for the long hit again, ends up slicing that high and harmlessly for Liton there

Mustafizur Rahman to Mumba, FOUR, sweet connection. Overpitched in the corridor, and once again that front leg has gloriously stepped into the leg side to allow for a drill to the wide long-off boundary
