5.45pm: For a while it looked like Superchargers were going to pull off the highest chase of the women's comp, but they fell away badly. That's not an option for us, as we launch straight into the second half of the 'Eadingley double-'eader - the toss in the men's game will take place shortly, with Birmingham Phoenix men looking to retake top spot with a sixth win of the group stage. Should be fun. Bye!
5.40pm: The Butterkist Brummies have done a number on the home side at Headingley, and their late surge continues - three wins in a row have taken them up to third, and they can only be caught if London Spirit pull off some sort of mathematical miracle to sneak in on NRR. Northern Superchargers won three of their first four games, but have slipped steadily off the pace; Lauren Winfield-Hill was on fire in the chase today, but once she departed, she took her team's hopes with her.
Eve Jones is Hero of the Match: [Winfield-Hill catch?] "Yeah, haven't take a catch this tournament so nice to hang on to on. Lauren was batting really well, they had momentum, big moment in the game. [Consistency and scoring rate] Both, my game has come on a long way with strike rates and freedom, nice to go out and express myself. [Working on game] Power and trying to hit down the ground more, pleasing to execute that. Played in the KSL, this has been a huge step up and really enjoyable, loving my cricket right now."

First boundary since the 69th ball for Superchargers, that
Wong to finish, Phoenix almost home and hosed. Superchargers need an unlikely 22 from the last five
