4.40pm So, Brave pile on 136 for 5 off their 100 balls. I must say, I feel that's a bit under-par given the start they had. Smriti Mandhana and Danni Wyatt added 63 runs off the first 42 balls with the former going great guns. But once she fell for a 25-ball 43, things slowed down a touch. Sophie Ecclestone removed Wyatt while Hannah Jones trapped Tahlia McGrath. Sophia Dunkley and Maia Bouchier did put in a good partnership but the bowlers, spinners in particular, were tight with their lines. A 137-run target is till tricky and Originals will have to bat very well to hunt it down. Back in a bit, with Deivarayan Muthu in the driver's seat when we return.

Vaneez Saraswat: "I would have to say this I am just loving this new approach from Mandhana where she is putting team before self and going hard from ball one . We saw this in cwg and now here again . She is certainly a legend in the making."

Here's Dunkley: We started off brilliantly. It slowed up a little bit in the middle. We have the runs on the board and I think we can defend that. [Openers] They take a bit of pressure away from us. [The run out that wasn't]. The unwritten rule is that when Dottin's got the ball, don't run. But happy with what happened.

Cross to Kemp, 1 run, OUT, Just short of the fielder at short fine leg! Length on the pads, she clips but straight to Jones, who dives forward to take the catch. The batters go for the second run - they had to - and Kemp is run out. Jones recovered well and threw the ball to the keeper, who whipped the bails off.

FG Kemp run out 11 (7b 0x4 1x6) SR: 157.14

False start. The bowler pulls out.

Ecclestone to Bouchier, 2 runs, Tossed up outside off, she mistimes her chip straight down the ground. Tahuhu though does not go for the catch. Hmm, she decided to save the boundary. Would have been a very tough chance, I must add. Ecclestone not too impressed.
