It looked like Superchargers had put up a decent total, asking the home side to pull off a record chase for the women's Hundred, but in the end they stood no chance of defending that target in the face of an international-quality top three. Lauren Winfield-Hill, on Invincibles debut and against her old side, led the way with an unbeaten 74, while Suzie Bates was typically inventive and composed; Alice Capsey then produced the teenage kicks to finish things in style. Lauren Winfield-Hill is the Match Hero: "It was great fun. I had to work quite hard, the Superchargers girls know me quite well and closed down my strengths. Great fun batting with Suze and nice to get a win. Came to a new team, the staff and girls have been awesome and made me feel welcome. Trying to take the game on, powerplay batting sets the tone. Have some fun out there, enjoying this team environment, and there's worse places to bat than here at the Oval. We've got some good senior players and some exciting youth, we cover all bases and are hungry to do the double."
