2.1 slogs leg side, picks out deep square! Jennings had been tied down for the majority of Behrendorff's opening tenner, and immediately tries to break the shackles against Clark. Rashid was a few yards in and had to backpedal, the ball squirmed free for half an instant - before he grabbed it for certain. Invincibles strike early 7/1
6.1 Warner holes out! Spirits sinking... Clark going round the wicket, full at the stumps and Warner can't time his heave down the ground. He was hitting to the longer pocket out towards the Edrich Stand, and it's an easy take for the man in off the rope 26/3
3.4 makes room... but nicks behind! Williamson's Spirit debut with the bat is short-lived. Tries to come down again, beaten by some bounce and the angle going across. Cross-batted swipe ends up tickling through to Billings 17/2
8.3 goes for the reverse, sends up a dolly! Madsen looks to put the pressure back on but only succeeds in digging a bigger hole for his side. Ungainly hoick and it takes the top edge, loops up for a simple catch at point 38/4
12.5 dipping slower ball, swung high to deep midwicket! Turner is the latest Spirit batter to trudge off with a bemused look. Another loopy SCurran moon ball, impossible to get any power through and it picks out Rashid. Curran does the Funky Chicken, or some such, in celebration 57/7
10.3 pushed through flat and given! Did that pitch in line? Simpson has a chat but elects not to review. Stayed low as he swung across the line, and was very much going on to hit the stumps before the pads got in the way 49/5
11.3 pinned on the front pad - given! James Middlebrook raises his finger again. This time Dawson reviews... did he get outside off stump? If not, he's toast. Slides under the bat as he tries to sweep and hits him right in line, would have gone on to strike off! Rashid has another as Spirit's big opening night gets worse 55/6
16.2 turns around and looks to manufacture the reverse... spooned straight to point! Higgins had done as well as any Spirit batter tonight but is flummoxed by the pace and angles of Rashid and gets nowhere near clearing the ring 74/9
15.4 hoicked to deep midwicket! Nicely timed but he was hitting to the longer side again. Pace on, I think, but Wood didn't have the power to clear Rashid Khan, never mind the boundary rope 74/8
18.4 SCurran moon-balls another, 47mph into the base of off stump! He likes this new toy. Twirls the fingers in celebration this time. The ball hit about a third of the way up the stumps, so lacking in oomph was it. Spirit demolished on their own patch by the two-time reigning champions 80/10

10.1 Gone! Jacks cuts to backward point, hanging back, trying to carve it through the ring but gets it straight to Jennings 51/2
6.2 Bowled 'im! Quality from Dawson, pace off - 50mph - allowing the ball to drip, grip, and spin past Muyeye's attempt to find something in the covers. Hits middle and off and Dawson is unusually chipper about it 34/1

11.3 Bowled him! Full, straight, Cox tries to ramp - did he need to? - and middle stump is taken out of the ground. It's a shot Cox plays well, but not on that occasion! 60/3

12.2 And there Sam Curran goes! Horrid looking shot, swiping across the line to a length ball, but the bounce was very low there. Eeesh 66/4
