Hilton Cartwright is player of the match after belting five sixes to get the Brave to 129. "The crowd got a bloody good game," he says. "I basically just took the game on, and it paid off - thankfully. [Bowlers?] We had a couple of guys who came into the side, and CJ bowled beautifully. The bowlers did an outstanding job."
Jane: "Different run rates of the lower middle order were the difference there. Saif and TKC could only chug along at a run a ball, whereas Cartwright blasted 51 from 19"

But none of their batters could leave a lasting mark on the game, with TKC's 25 the top score, and some superb bowling from Archer, Jordan and Coles kept Brave in it. They sneak home, and stay firmly in the mix for the play-offs. The Fire's hopes are all but over.
