5.10pm: The Hundred derby of the north belongs to Manchester. Big runs on the board courtesy of Jos Buttler and Heinrich Klaasen, then Sonny Baker and Josh Tongue sliced through the Superchargers line-up (with a little help from Noor Ahmed and Rachin Ravindra). That win, only their second from five games, pushes Originals up to fifth in the table as we get nearer to the business end

Jos Buttler is Match Hero: "Had to win to day to get some momentum, really good performance. Used wicket, we'd played on it before, hard work but tried not to get frustrated. Built some partrnerships and having guys set was crucial. [Defending] Keep it simple, we've played a couple of games here, seen how the wicket can be. Tried not to put pressure on. [Attack] Nice variety, Josh and Sonny complement each other, adding someone like Noor is a trump card. To put together a performance like that with bat and ball is very exciting"

That's that for today from Manchester, but be sure to join us for the evening kick-off in Brum. Thanks for your comments, from myself and Vish - bye!

Baker to Lawes, OUT, hoicked straight to deep midwicket! Another slower ball into the pitch, offcutter from Baker, and Lawes cannot manufacture enough power on his slog across the line. Picks out the man in the deep. Originals one away from Roses northern deby bragging rights
