Oh no, the players are already shaking hands. Match ends in deadlock. What a swift end to a frustrating day of the Men's Hundred. The action was short-lived, and there's hardly any time left to get back on the field. Quite an anticlimactic end to what was hyped as a high-voltage affair but the rain had the final say. Superchargers move to third and Welsh Fire are now at 6th position, it will be difficult for Fire to sneak into the top four after this soggy affair

Stokes to Wells, 2 runs, On a length and angled across middle, gives himself room and jauntily heaves over cover-point, just evades the fielder who was in business for a few moments, batters hustle for a couple and umpires are having a chat again, rain has got heavier and the players are going off, it's been that kind of day, stop-start-stop

Stokes to Wells, no run, Oh my goodness! That bounces insanely off the deck, Well couldn't do anything about it, banged in short and it curls away extravagantly outside off, he tries to pull and only connects with fresh air

Stokes to Wells, 1 wide, We are playing. Over the wicket, shortish in length and it's dancing away from leg-stump, big wide, worst possible start in a very low-scoring affair

Openers are stepping out and vigorously loosening their shoulders. Bairstow seems adamant about finishing it off in 10 balls, maybe? You don't get these situations too often. Some smoke is getting in Topley's eyes, and there you go--waited too long, and it has started to rain again. Umpires are having a chat, but the players haven't left yet

That looks subpar; it's almost a run-a-ball required, which should be a walk in the park. However, remember that the ball is doing a lot, and there's plenty happening for the bowlers if they land in the right areas. They could have definitely posted more on the board, but that's all they get in this rain-truncated affair. Effective ploy from Haris to take off the pace and strangle the batters, who were swinging the bat all over the place with no luck. The pace attack made the most of the conditions and they were all switched on from ball one. Let's see how the second half goes. We'll be back shortly and hope it resumes quickly before the heavens open again

Haris Rauf to Clark, 1 bye, Swings for the grandstands but misses it altogether, back of a length, nibbling away in the corridor, he was not near the line of the ball and the ball whisked past the outside edge, excellent over comes to an end, only 26 in 25 balls! nobody getting in double-figures

Haris Rauf to Robinson, 1 leg bye, Dug in short and follows him again as he backs away, gets hit on the shoulder and the ball ricochets to third man; this is fabulous bowling, mixing it up so well and doing the job for his captain

Haris Rauf to Robinson, no run, Bustling in and lands it shorter, follows him as he shimmies down the leg, rises steeply off the deck, Haris wins the battle on this occasion, another pace-off delivery, couldn't free his arms
