8:22pm Right. That will be that from us for this game. Another cricket-filled day awaits tomorrow, with two games apiece in the Men's and the Women's Hundred. Do join us for those too as teams enter the home stretch of the group phase. C'ya tomorrow!

8:15pm An utterly one-sided contest, with the Southern Brave batters adding the exclamation point to an already clinical display. Their bowlers set up the win but Allen was just as breathtaking in the powerplay, taking down Shaheen and Willey. Conway was also severe on Rauf inside the powerplay and once that happened, the Welsh Fire looked dejected and wanted to be anywhere but at Cardiff.

This win for the Southern Brave was also the biggest, in terms of balls remaining in a 100-ball contest in the Men's Hundred, and that has now helped them leapfrog the Welsh Fire in the points table, going up to third. The Welsh Fire are, by no means, out of the qualification race but they will have to dust themselves off and put their best foot forward when they take on the Trent Rockets at this very venue on Monday.

Phillips to Conway, FOUR, that will be that! The Brave win by nine wickets and with 41 balls to spare! Dragged down on leg stump and that sort of sumps up the Welsh Fire's day. Conway rocks back and smears it over mid wicket to hand the Brave their second win of the season!

Phillips to du Plooy, 1 run, shortish outside off. du Plooy cuts it straight to deep cover point. Scores level!

Just two needed for the win now

Phillips to du Plooy, SIX, that. Is. Massive. Juicy full toss outside off and du Plooy makes the most of it. Advances to get some momentum into the stroke and clatters it a 112 metres over the bowler's head!

Phillips to Conway, 1 run, full on leg stump. Conway backs away and drills it down the ground to long on

Phillips back to bowl his second set. Can Conway and du Plooy finish it off in the next five balls?

Green to du Plooy, 1 run, back of a length outside off. du Plooy picks the slower one, waits for it and dabs it down to third man

Green to Conway, 1 run, low full toss just outside off. Conway presses forward and drives it towards mid off. The fielder sprawls to his left and saves a certain boundary
