8.45pm A heart-breaking third consecutive loss for the Welsh Fire, as they grab defeat from the jaws of victory, courtesy some excellent death bowling from Kane Richardson and Tom Helm.

Despite losing a couple of early wickets, Tom Banton and Sam Hain put the Fire in control, with David Miller continuing after they fell. Yet, Richardson and Helm were able to concede only eight runs in the final two sets to win the game.

Kane Richardson, Man of the Match, Birmingham Phoenix: I don't really know [how I did that]. All you can do is hang in the game - Benny Howell and Tom Helm deserve a lot of credit. The opposition did very well, we hung in there and got a character-building win. We'll look back on this game and admit that we didn't do well with the bat, so it's encouraging that we can win from there.

Moeen Ali, captain, Birmingham Phoenix: It was good - the pressure was on them all the way through. I felt Livingstone was doing such a good job, we didn't need Imran Tahir, and the pacers did a great job. We knew we had to take the pace off in the final two overs - and Kane and Helm bowled brilliantly.

Helm to Pretorius, FOUR, It's four but it's in vain Pretorius cuts it away for four, but its moot as Phoenix grab the win!

Helm to Pretorius, 1 bye, Swing and a miss! Pretorius goes big and misses, but Miller has already gambled, scampering through for a quick single.

Helm to Cobb, OUT, It's out! Slow, back of a length, and he skies it straight to the fielder at long off. Miller crosses over, but it's irrelevant as the new batter has to face the ball.

It's going to be Tom Helm with a final set.
