9.30pm: Superb stuff from Vince, finishing unbeaten on 71 from 41 - and he can be doubly happy, after marshalling an excellent performance with the ball, each and every one of his bowlers doing what was asked of them. Mahela Jayawardene's team debrief will be short tonight, while Gary Kirsten had better start searching for a place to buy several cans of kerosene. Anyway, thanks for dropping in, as ever we'll be back for another night in the Hundred tomorrow. Cheerio!

Unsurprisingly, James Vince is the Hero of the Match: "It was nice, obviously chasing that target, the bowlers did a fantastic job. The gameplan was simple, not a lot of scoreboard pressure and we got a partnership going. We found it tough with the time, taking wickets adds a bit of pressure. Only one game but nice to get off to a winning start. Bowlers found some seam movement early on, which we thought might happen, and we put them under pressure. I know this ground really well, try to hit the pockets and leave the sixes for the big guys."
