7.18pm: Gritty stuff from Alex Davies, dragging himself and the visitors up to something. They were 94 for 4 with 25 balls to go, but managed to add another 51 largely through Davies finally finding his range. The pitch looked okay to bat on, and Spirit will be hoping it just gets quicker under lights. Here's Davies: "I had to run fast today, for how I was hitting it at the start. But lads were coming in and struggling to time it, I thought if I could soak up as many balls as possible it might get us to a total. [Pitch?] It's not as bad as I made it look, we'll have to bowl well but I think we've got the attack. [Short boundary?] Guys are strong enough to cover the long side but it's about keeping a clear head and reacting. Be nice if we could go two from four and still got teams above us to play.
