LdP is speaking to Sky: "It'll be very competitive. It's a tad on the slow side. Really great batting with Critch in the middle having done so before at Derbyshire. I've been itching to get a go. Sitting in isolation for 10 days before the tournament and the guys have done a great job... training was on the minimal side. I like to hit a lot of balls but you just need to back yourself and that's half the job done. I know the guys on the balcony are going to support me. I think slower ball stick in the wicket a tad more. The guys know what to do."
DaWolf: "That was some shift of gears from Critchley. 6 off his first 8 balls, 24 off his next 9 balls. Decent total."
3.41pm: I reckon that's a very handy total from Welsh Fire. Good middle-order cameos from the Derbyshire boys, du Plooy and Critchley, after captain Duckett had done well at No. 3. The Originals' two leggies took a bit of tap, while Finn and Brathwaite were also expensive. Hartley and Ferguson the pick of the attack. Back shortly for the chase.
Higgins is out there with some black gloves with neon highlights. Funky. He's a useful hitter at the death for Gloucestershire.
