- BATSMENRB4s6sSR119.4 a slog goes straight towards deep midwicket, and the catch is completed! Handshakes all around from the South African camp as Agarwal walks off after a top innings. Tossed up closer to the stumps, and Mayank Agarwal pulled out a very wristly flick. It actually went far too well for his liking, as it brought Dane Piedt down at the fence into the picture. Dives forward to complete a good catch 436/581.6 and they've finally got the wicket! Tossed up by Maharaj, and Rohit looks to come forward to drive, and is beaten by the turn and the flight. Well done by de Kock to dislodge the bails, and Rohit walks off to some congratulatory handshakes from the opposition team. What a start to the story of Rohit Sharma, the Test opener! 317/188.1 wow! What a delivery! The perfect outwsinger. Length ball curving away slightly from middle stump. Pujara defends for the line with an angled bat, and the ball is past the outside edge to knock off stump 324/2103.1 leading edge and taken! Senuran Muthusamy's first Test wicket is Virat Kohli. Length ball on middle stump, turning away. A lazy shot from Kohli, really. In front of his body and flicking against the turn without getting in line. It's a gentle, friendly lob back to the bowler who grabs on to his left and will no doubt never shut up about this! And why should he? 377/3117.6 Maharaj gets his man! He looped this up outside off stump, and just held the length back a touch. Rahane uses his feet, but cannot commit himself too far forward, probably conscious of the man under the helmet on the off side, and ends up skewing a drive uppishly towards cover, where Bavuma takes a comfortable catch for his standards. Good captaincy, and top bowling from Maharaj, who has easily been the pick of the spinners, despite having taken a fair amount of stick 431/4126.4 taken at long-off. Vihari's first home innings ends in a frenzy. Flat length ball outside off, he steps out and has a hurried swish at it. It's off the low part of the bat and is taken well inside the boundary 457/6131.3 straight to deep midwicket! A smile from Piedt. And then he covers his face. It's halfway down the pitch, turning in at leg stump and he gets the pull shot off the low part of the bat 494/7Extras8 (b 4, lb 1, nb 2, w 1)TOTAL502/7d (136 Overs, RR: 3.69)Fall of wickets: 1-317 (Rohit Sharma, 81.6 ov), 2-324 (Cheteshwar Pujara, 88.1 ov), 3-377 (Virat Kohli, 103.1 ov), 4-431 (Ajinkya Rahane, 117.6 ov), 5-436 (Mayank Agarawal, 119.4 ov), 6-457 (Hanuma Vihari, 126.4 ov), 7-494 (Wriddhiman Saha, 131.3 ov)

- BATSMENRB4s6sSR99.3 sprinting in and tumbling, is Pujara as he lunges forward to hold on to this top edge at square leg. Came running in from the boundary. Takes the catch for his Saurashtra buddy's 200th Test wicket. Elgar was disappointed as soon as this left the bat - a length ball outside off, he wanted to sweep. Ended up getting underneath it and got a top edge. Pujara, in all his slow-mo bustling glory, took it side on and made sure to hold it as he went to ground. A memorable innings from Elgar has ended. Standing ovation for him 342/67.1 GOT 'IM! This time it doesn't bounce over the stumps. Ashwin tosses this up outside off, with some furious revs on it, and Markram presses forward to defend. Leaves a slight gap between bat and pad, though, and that's where the ball sneaks through and goes on to rattle the timber behind him. Ashwin throws his right arm up in celebration. Smart bowling, as he's giving the ball some flight, but keeps varying the line and length 14/116.3 Ashwin gets de Bruyn...superb glovework from Saha! Floated up around off stump, and it just kept going with the angle. De Bruyn has been happy to use his reach to try and get to the pitch of the ball often, and his back leg just slid a shade out of the crease as he did so, and that instant was enough for Saha to whip the bails off. In fact, given out caught, as there was a slight inside edge on that. So de Bruyn may have been given out in any case, but he was honest enough to start walking as soon as that ball was snaffled by Saha behind the stumps. It continues to be a terrific opening burst from R Ashwin 31/217.3 GOT 'IM! Darts one in from wide of the crease, and Piedt was playing for the turn as he stretched forward. Went through him, and dislodged the middle stump in the process. The Indian spinners beginning to make merry! 34/326.1 trapped right in front! And he won't review. That's jagged back in from a length and caught him on the back leg in front of middle stump. It's a length ball slammed into the pitch outside off. He looks to drive on the up for the original line but this is a long way past his inside edge. Wasn't rising either. Dead in front 63/457.3 he's nudged that straight to leg slip! Oh that is soft, Faf is livid with himself. Ashwin slows it down and gets him to push in front of the body. It's a length ball landed just outside off. A hint of bounce to that. He closes the face and hits it into the mid-riff of Pujara who grabs onto it. A solid knock ends tamely 178/5109.3 the three-ball trick works for Ashwin! Started with one that turned sharp, the next one just a tad lesser, and this went on straight with the arm, and went through the gate as de Kock stretched to defend. Two balls that beat the outside edge, and this one crept right through to go on and castle him. Nevertheless, what a top innings this has been from de Kock. Taken a massive amount of pressure off South Africa! 370/7113.2 what a beauty to pick up five! Floated around off, and Philander looks for the drive. It turns and spins back in through the gate, and just clips the top of middle and leg. Ashwin applauds...I think he likes how the ball is coming out today 376/8123.4 Ashwin gets a sixth! Tossed up a bit more, and outside off, and Maharaj looks to go towards long on. Mayank Agarwal was placed a few yards close in from the long on fence, and just had to take a few steps forward to his right, and had an easy catch to complete. Skewed in the hands as he went for that shot, Maharaj, and that ends his resistance. Just one wicket to go now for India 396/9131.2 goes back to one and tries to defend. Hits him on the pads, but not given out. India review this one. Ball pitches around middle and then goes further on, but it still goes on to strike the leg stump. India have that final wicket, and Rabada becomes Ashwin's seventh victim 431/10Extras21 (b 12, lb 4, nb 5)TOTAL431 all out (131.2 Overs, RR: 3.28)Fall of wickets: 1-14 (Aiden Markram, 7.1 ov), 2-31 (Theunis de Bruyn, 16.3 ov), 3-34 (Dane Piedt, 17.3 ov), 4-63 (Temba Bavuma, 26.1 ov), 5-178 (Faf du Plessis, 57.3 ov), 6-342 (Dean Elgar, 99.3 ov), 7-370 (Quinton de Kock, 109.3 ov), 8-376 (Vernon Philander, 113.2 ov), 9-396 (Keshav Maharaj, 123.4 ov), 10-431 (Kagiso Rabada, 131.2 ov)
- BATSMENRB4s6sSR7.6 ripping, bouncing turn and he's caught the high part of the outside edge. Length ball again, at a superb pace. Nice and loopy, drawing him forward and away from his body. Taken easily at first slip 21/156.5 he's stumped for the second time in the game! Over 300 runs in Rohit Sharma's first Test as opener, and it ends as he comes down the track to a well-flighted ball from Maharaj. Good bowling, as he finds himself not quite to the pitch of the ball when looking for a lofted shot, and de Kock does the rest. Almost a replay of the first innings, with some rapturous applause from the crowd, and the acknowledgement from the South African team too 239/350.6 traps him in front! Given out leg before, but Pujara has referred this. Fair delivery, and goes straight on, as Pujara shapes to defend. Misses the outside edge, and then strikes him below the thigh pad on his back leg. As dead as it can get, and India lose a review with that. Fine bowling from Philander 190/262.5 smashes off stump. Length at off stump, looks to slog across the line and completely misses that. Sweet sound as this splits middle and off stump 286/4Extras10 (b 8, lb 2)TOTAL323/4d (67 Overs, RR: 4.82)Fall of wickets: 1-21 (Mayank Agarawal, 7.6 ov), 2-190 (Cheteshwar Pujara, 50.6 ov), 3-239 (Rohit Sharma, 56.5 ov), 4-286 (Ravindra Jadeja, 62.5 ov)

- BATSMENRB4s6sSR26.1 a brilliant caught-and-bowled. That's Markram, a big wicket. Is the end nigh? Was fuller on the stumps, Markram looked to go over the top once again, got it from the middle of the bat as well but couldn't get the required elevation. Jadeja hops in his follow through and snaffles it with his left hand 70/63.3 huge appeal and then they review with two second left on the clock. That's kept low at a middle stump line. My first thought was leading edge, but that has gone under the bat and hit him at shin height as he's looked to flick off the front foot...he's bowling around the wicket. Did that pitch in line? Yes it did! Skidding onto hit middle stump. Jadeja was raucous and violent with that appeal but it took a long time for Kohli to be convinced of the review, probably because he is around the wicket. But they've made the decision that's got South Africa's most solid batsman from the first innings 4/110.5 WICKET NUMBER 350 FOR ASHWIN! Tosses this up wide of off, and gives some supreme revs on this one. De Bruyn shapes to cut this away, but finds the ball dipping late on him. He's committed to the stroke, though, and ends up playing it off the inside edge on to his stumps. Ashwin lets out a celebratory roar - he now joins Muttiah Muralitharan as the only men to have reached 350 Test wickets in just their 66th Test. Take a bow! 19/211.3 GONE RIGHT THROUGH HIM! This pitch is playing some tricks now, though this was well directed from Shami. A length ball, and keeps quite low, and Bavuma tries to adjust, but cannot bring his bat down on time. Goes right through him, and he topples over as he loses his balance. South Africa are unravelling now. They need a hero or two 20/321.5 OH, HE'S DONE HIM IN! Faf du Plessis has been leaving a number of balls around off and just outside, and that's where this ball from Shami starts. There's a sharp movement back in after pitching, though, and it comes shooting right back and takes off-stump with it. Du Plessis can only look in disbelief, and then begins to drag himself off the square. Shami goes off in celebration, arms spread wide open. India can probably begin to get their first sights of the final leg of this effort 52/423.1 bowled through the gate. De Kock was caught at the crease to a length ball around off, looks to push tentatively, hoping it will go across him but the ball straightens after pitching and crashes into the off stump 60/526.4 fuller on the stumps, Philander was looking to flick it away, misses and an appeal for lbw. Mind you, first slip caught the ball but did it pitch within the line of the stumps? India want to review this. Pitching around middle and leg, no bat involved and hit the batsman on the back pad in front of off. Would have gone on to hit the off stump. Three reds and that's a pair for Philander 70/726.5 almost an action replay of the last ball. Length ball on the stumps, spinning away to beat the bat and hits the back leg. Up goes the finger but Maharaj wants to review this. Once again no bat involved, hitting the back leg around off and middle and it's umpire's call on the stumps, would have clipped the off stick. So the original decision stays. Jadeja on a hat-trick 70/859.1 and he strikes straightaway! Piedt's resistance comes to an end. It touch fuller outside off, Piedt looks to drive away from the body, gets an inside edge on to the stumps. India one wicket away from victory now 161/963.5 and there is that edge. Saha makes no mistake, Shami gets five. Fuller outside off, Rabada once again goes for a big drive, gets a healthy edge and an easy catch for Saha 191/10Extras4 (b 2, lb 2)TOTAL191 all out (63.5 Overs, RR: 2.99)Fall of wickets: 1-4 (Dean Elgar, 3.3 ov), 2-19 (Theunis de Bruyn, 10.5 ov), 3-20 (Temba Bavuma, 11.3 ov), 4-52 (Faf du Plessis, 21.5 ov), 5-60 (Quinton de Kock, 23.1 ov), 6-70 (Aiden Markram, 26.1 ov), 7-70 (Vernon Philander, 26.4 ov), 8-70 (Keshav Maharaj, 26.5 ov), 9-161 (Dane Piedt, 59.1 ov), 10-191 (Kagiso Rabada, 63.5 ov)
