Prior to that, his partnership with Rizwan rescued Pakistan from a slight spot of bother, with Imam's 93 and Masood's 76 being the tone-setting hands earlier in the innings.

South Africa were not very consistent yesterday, but will be pleased with their toil today. Muthusamy bagged six, and played a major role in the two mini-collapses Pakistan had.
