10.41am: New Zealand take a seven-run lead on third morning. Southee and Jamieson kept the scorecard ticking in the first session and put on crucial 52 runs for the eighth wicket to help the visitors cut down the deficit. Bangladesh started the day defensively but did create a few chances after an hour into the session. And it took Momimul just an over to end New Zealand's innings, with the wickets of Jamieson and Southee, after the drinks break. Bangladesh would be content to have bowled out New Zealand inside 320 but they will need to show better intent and come out stronger with the bat in the third innings. Join us after a short break.

Thanks, Sudarshanan. Southee and Jamieson look strong to extend the lead. In fact, it seemed like Bangladesh let them score runs on third morning. Partnership stands at 52*. Will Bangladesh get the breakthrough after the break? We'll will see.
James Caughey: "This is a real captain's knock from Southee. Not sure he's shown this much self control with the bat in his entire career. Hopefully some clever bowling from him to stifle Bangladesh in their 2nd innings! "

An hour of play done, drinks are on. Cue to welcome Srinidhi here. Do let her know how much lead you think New Zealand will finish with.
Hayes: "Absolutely fascinated to find that Southee has a test 50 that didn't include a 6."
