2.46pm A lovely moment. Kuldeep and Siraj want Ashwin to lead the side off the field because this is his 100th Test and he has taken four. Ashwin tells Kuldeep no it has to be him because he has bowled the best. He has bowled beautifully. And he has taken five. Kuldeep finally and reluctantly agrees to lead them off the field, and raises the ball. Kuldeep has deserved it. He has bowled superbly on day one. all 10 have fallen to spin.
And as we have been telling you, this is where Kuldeep made his Test debut and was key to India winning their hardest-fought series at home in 12 years. And today he has taken a five-for and also become the fastest Indian to that mark. Only one spinner in the world, Johnny Briggs, is quicker to 50 Test wickets than Kuldeep.
I know people have been saying this is a flat pitch but I don't agree. There has been a false shot every four balls. The new ball swung and seamed, and the old ball has shown signs of quick turn. Having said all that, England will still be disappointed at not surviving even 60 overs.
Elsewhere in Indian sport, Puneri Paltan's maiden Pro Kabaddi title earned them an A+ grade, but another team made history by bagging a never-seen-before grade of F- for their abysmal campaign. Who are they? Check out our PKL Report Card.

2.25pm Thanks Alan. Welcome back. What a session India have had: six wickets for hardly anything. Ben Foakes again working on a single every fourth ball, which does nothing as we saw in Ranchi too.
A great stat from Sampath Bandarupalli meanwhile

2.15pm: The early morning rumbles turned into an avalanche. England had ridden their luck during the first session but lost six wickets between lunch and tea to hand the initiative back to India. Kuldeep Yadav bowled superbly to claim his fourth Test five-for, and all eight England batters have fallen to spin. Cobbling 200 on first innings certainly won't have been the plan, but it looks like England will be bowling pretty soon. Sid will be back for the evening session in 10
