5.06pm Well, that was sub-standard. Cummins was outstanding in leading the line for Australia; but the donations from the middle and lower order were quite staggering. England's senior trio, Root, Stokes and Buttler, were especially culpable in the manner of their dismissals. And though the tail battled to a degree, that was not a performance to save an Ashes campaign. Gnasher will be here shortly for the reply.
