That's all from us. Thanks for joining, good night.
Dimuth Karunaratne: We've done very well, we heard we've won after 44 months at home. Bowlers did a great job, the spinners in particular, Akila and Dananjaya. Akila was coming back after a long time, he did a great job. Avishka went for it in the beginning, unfortunately missed his hundred.
Tamim Iqbal: We won an important toss, we knew the wicket was going to spin. We needed to start well, 50 for four doesn't help but the way we bowled even 300 would not have been enough. We had our moments, can't go back to the players we don't have. We just weren't ready to do the hard work, we chose the easy option.
Avishka Fernando is the man of the match: I don't mind opening or batting at No.3, whatever the team requires. Disappointed to miss out on hundred but hope to correct it in future.
Mathews: Yeah, I mean, we haven't played very good cricket for the past two years, we have disappointed the fans. The wicket wasn't easy, thought Kusal played brilliantly after Avishka's brilliant knock.
Not the easiest pitch, as the work-man like innings of Mushfiqur confirmed but Bangladesh bowlers made it easier for Sri Lanka and weren't helped by their fielders' shoddy show. Young Avishka Fernando, however, made a mockery of whatever difficulties he was faced with. In imperious form, he capitalised on inconsistent bowling and made the world take note every time he struck a boundary or six. His rapid 82, replete with carefree drives and glorious pulls - although he fell to the stroke - set the chase up, and Mathews and Mendis ensured the good work wasn't wasted, to help Sri Lanka seal the series, their first in ODIs at home in 44 months.
