Another convincing win for West Indies, another defeat for Afghanistan. Will that change when the two teams face-off once again, on Saturday? We will back to bring you all the live updates. But for now, it's goodbye from our side.
Kieron Pollard: "It's always good to contribute but it's always better to contribute in the winning cause. The partnership between Lewis and Hetmyer set it up. It was not one of the easiest wickets to bat on. The balls were coming slow off the wicket. It's when you have to play smart cricket, manoeuvre the fielder. We were a bowler short but the boys stepped up. We have another game shortly, so we need to look the areas to improve upon."
Kieron Pollard is the Man of the Match.
Rashid Khan: "It was the kind of the toss you want to win. We came back well in the second half. We didn't have the ideal start but have two more opportunities to make a comeback. We have the plans about what kind of team we want in the coming five years, so we are giving chances to youngsters. Hopefully, we will have a good team for the Asia Cup and the World Cup. Hopefully, our fans will keep us in their prayers and we will try to come back stronger."
Time for the presentation ceremony.
10.42pm A convincing win for West Indies despite losing the toss and dealing with dew towards the end. Evin Lewis' 41-ball 68 set the platform for West Indies. Afghanistan struck back though once Lewis was out and restricted West Indies to 164. However, their chase never took off. Asghar Afghan dealt some lusty blows but Zazai's struggles meant he asking rate was climbing fast. Afghanistan kept losing wickets trying to catch up and fell 30 short in the end.
Around the wicket
Hakim Ahmadzai: "Really Can't understand what has happened to this Afghan Side! They were trumendous just a few months ago but falling apart these days. I don't know why they have lost settled things after the change in Captaincy. Hope things get better ASAP"
