9:13pm Dottin's wicket proved to be the just opening that Velocity needed. She was looking set and, as she said, was all set to tee off having gotten the measure of the surface. With Harmanpreet for company, Supernovas' innings could have had a different look but for Dottin and Harmanpreet's wicket. That helped Velocity pull things back. Interestingly, Dottin thinks they have enough on the board. Given Supernovas' bowling performances this tournament, we sure have a good chase on our hands. Venkat Raghav will be back with the reply shortly.
Mohd Irshad: "They would have liked atleast 15 more but this is still a good score for final. Big game pressure is always there."
Deandra Dottin: The gameplan was to spend as much time as possible in the middle. You can always make up for a slow start and that was the plan. The plan was to target the bowler to the side where the wind is strong. The pitch is pretty good and I think we have enough on the board, if we bowl in the right areas. It is fun opening with Priya, we talk a lot and have fun. Unfortunately we couldn't cash in on the free hits. (Message to bowlers) Bowl in the right areas.
9:10pm Superb bowling performance by Velocity and they have a real good shot at winning their maiden Women's T20 Challenge title. They struggled to pick up a wicket at the start with Dottin and Punia in the middle. But they never let the run-rate get out of control. They weren't aided by some butter-fingered fielding, either. They got an opening once Dottin, who's talking to the broadcaster now.

Prakash: "RR needed 158 yesterday with explosive buttler and yasasvi decided the match in first over it self velocity also got the similar opening batters in form of shafali and yastika .. lets see they get their first title .."
