7.40 pm This looks a strong total and it happened because Supernovas abandoned their conservative approach from the first game. Chamari Atapattu (67 off 48) was so powerful. Her sweeps and her lofts down the ground would send shivers down your spine. Harmanpreet Kaur (31 off 29) was glorious when she hit over the covers and over long-off. Supernovas were facing a must-win game and they batted like they had nothing to lose.

Only Dottin could have got a hand to it as she races to her right from long-off, leaps high, arches her body back over the boundary and the ball bounces off her palm and into the advertising hoardings. It was always going to go for six. Kaur put so much power, she had so much momentum into the shot after coming down the track. Great effort. But such a good shot

And then, when the throw comes into the keeper, with Kaur racing back for the second, she can't nail the target from about six feet out (where silly point would have been) Kaur is down for a moment. Getting some fluids in.
