That's all from us. Do join us for the final match of the ODI series on Sunday

Asghar Afghan It was an important match. Top order batted poorly again but Rashid batted really well to get us to 223 on that wicket

Rashid Khan is the man of the match I'm always trying my best with the bat, working hard in the nets, doesn't matter when i come in to bat, I always try and do well with the bat.

Porterfield: I think individual errors cost us with the bat. I'm sure another day we could have bowled them out for a lot less, with some luck. We lost wickets too regularly after a half decent start.

7.24pm Afghanistan take an unassailable two-one lead with one match remaining. Who would have thought after they'd been reduced to 81 for six batting first? But once they posted 223, on a pitch offering appreciable turn and variable bounce, they were always bossing the game with their bowling attack. Ireland, however, didn't help their cause, losing wickets in clumps after a steady opening stand of 31. They lost three for eight in the beginning and there was another dramatic collapse in the middle, which saw them lose six for 30. Seven batsmen were out either bowled or lbw suggesting that while the Afghanistan bowlers kept things simple by bowling within the stumps, a lot of the batsmen succumbed to cross batted shots, which weren't a great option with the ball keeping low

Mohammad Nabi to Rankin, OUT, full on middle, there seemed to have been a massive inside edge before it struck him in front as he pushed forward but the umpire reckoned otherwise and that's a demolition job from Afghanistan
