6:11pm We're ready for the start of Sri Lanka's chase.

Raveen Eranda: "Malinga made a blunder not bowling out pradeep.. "

ibad: "Sri Lanka need to do exactly what they did last time.. brisk start in the beginning "

Alex L: "Always nice when your team can post a very good score after your best batsman failing. NZ proving they're not one trick ponies."

5:39pm A decent score after electing to bat. Sri Lanka did really well in pockets, throughout the innings, but they'll feel like they gave 20 runs too many at the end. New Zealand will have reasons to feel they didn't live up to their potential as well - all three batsmen who got fifties for them were run out. This pitch wasn't quite as good the one in the first ODI - a bit more dry, some more cracks, and a tad slow at times. Sri Lanka probably won't have as much comfort in their chase as last time. We'll see how they go in about 30 minutes.

NLTC Perera to Seifert, 2 runs, full and just outside off, drilled to sweeper's right. Run-out chance misses at the non-striker's end. The throw is wide for Perera, but that's probably because he's to the right of the stumps, rather than behind them
