1.5 plays on!. Reward for ridiculously good line and length. And honestly, it almost seems as if Guptill hasn't been picking Shami out the hand. Hasn't been comfortable with the way the ball is coming out. This one hits a length on and around off stump and wobbles back into the right-hander, he's too slow with his forward defensive and it piggy-backs off an inside edge and crashes into the stumps. Hundredth ODI wicket for Shami - the fastest by an Indian in ODIs 5/1
3.3 through him! It's his first ball from round the wicket and it's enough! Delicious bowling. And all this havoc is because of seam movement. And that too only about an inch or two. Shami usually presents the seam so beautifully. It comes down bolt upright as he hits a fuller length, outside off, drawing the left-hander to drive away from his body. That's because Munro's feet aren't quite covering for that deadly bit of movement and when that happens, you have to be circumspect with your shots. Munro isn't, and he pays for it 18/2
33.1 taken at long-on! That might be it for New Zealand. There's the width for the shot - a loft straight down the ground - but Kuldeep manages to get the legbreak to dip just about enough that Williamson is left reaching out for it, outside off. That's enough to swindle his timing away from him and offer a simple catch to Vijay Shankar 146/7
14.3 he's claiming a caught and bowled! And replays show he's right. Exceptional bowling. This is the result of the other trick in his bag - change of pace. And it's almost like he's sensed his moment. Taylor's been itching to smash Chahal. But the legspinner's been too good with his drift and dip. Now the batsman has to make a choice. Take a risk. He comes dancing out of his crease. Chahal is ready for it. Pulls his length back. Draws his pace down. Doesn't let Taylor anywhere near the ball and the shot - a tame push down the pitch - results in a low catch, which he takes diving forward. Insaaaaaaanely good. 52/3
18.5 return catch has been sent upstairs with soft signal out. This is a full ball the Latham doesn't get to the pitch of. Wants to drive to long-on, but he chips it to Chahal's left. It dips on the legspinner as he takes that. He isn't moving forward, per se, just sort of falling to his left...but third umpire is convinced he's got fingers under this. Didn't take too long for that decision. One look from the extra cover angle, one from front on, and Nigel Llong has seen enough evidence to go with the soft signal. Chahal does it again with his loop. And backs it up with his catching. Brilliant spell 76/4
23.6 Kuldeep flies to his right and holds on at midwicket! Superb. Superb agility from Kuldeep. This is a slow length ball dipping at leg stump. Nicholls gets a lot of bat on this flick and it's whistling past Kuldeep as he sticks both hands out and takes it behind himself. Another New Zealand batsman goes trying to hit hard against slow bowling. He was overbalancing and falling over into the off side 107/5
29.4 that looks dead in front. He won't review it. Fantastic bowling again from Shami. Inside 10 balls, he's conjured a spell that has muddled Santner's thinking. He shuffles across and is deep in the crease after all the short balls he got last over. This is full, and in at middle stump. he looks to flick but is beaten for pace 133/6
33.5 drags on! Doesn't pick the googly as he makes room to cut an assumed legbreak on off stump. The ball grips in the pitch, spins sharp enough that Bracewell is too far away from the ball to make any kind of decent contact. Lost for balance and panicking, Bracewell trusts only in his power and it fails him as he inside edges a short ball onto his stumps 146/8

35.2 appeal for stumping from Dhoni and that's usually tight. Gorgeous bowling from Kuldeep again. Looping the ball up for the lower-order bat. Pulling him forward to defend. Then, since it's the googly and Ferguson has not picked it, it spins right past the outside edge and straight into Dhoni's gloves. A millisecond later the stumps are broken with Ferguson's back leg on the line. Third ump Llong says off you go 148/9
37.6 taken at slip! Four for Kuldeep. And India have only 158 as a target - the second innings will start immediately as well. No breaks. Right then, lets get to the ball: he goes round the wicket - on Dhoni's instructions - tosses it up to bring the batsman forward, gets it to turn the other way and secures the edge 157/10

9.2 taken at slip! Loose waft from Rohit at a delivery curving away from him. It's short of a length, he's not gotten close to it with his feet and Guptill pouches in front of his face 41/1

28.4 caught behind! The Ferguson short ball works. And that's largely because it climbs up to his badge. Kohli's the kind to take on the short ball. If only to show bowlers they won't have their way. He's got out this way before, especially when his body's the target and sometimes even when the bouncer is straying down leg - as this is. Goes for the hook and gets a thin tickle through to the keeper. 132/2
