So the caravan moves to Hamilton with the series on line. Can New Zealand make a comeback or will India clinch the T20I trophy as well? We will be there to find out. That's all from our side for tonight's game. See you soon.
"Very pleased to see how we bowled and then we were clinical with the bat as well," Rohit says. "We didn't execute the plans in the first game, we executed them here and got the reward for it. It's important to understand the mistakes we made. We wanted the guys to go out there with a clear mind. We have got quality in our side and we are looking forward to the next game. Hopefully, we can do what we did today."
"I suppose the performance of Wellington was always going to be difficult to replicate," Williamson say. "Slightly more tricky at times here. There a lot of learnings. Look, you still need to come out and play with freedom. Often we come here, often brilliantly cricket matches. Brilliant crowd today. One-all in the series, hopefully we will get another outstanding crowd."
Krunal Pandya is Man of the Match. "It felt really nice to contribute and it's always special when the team wins," he says. "You have to adapt according the ground, and I think I did that well."
10.18pm India level the series 1-1 with one match to go. A target of 159 was never going to be enough on this ground, and to make things worse for New Zealand, Rohit found his form and led the chase with a 29-ball 50. Dhawan struggled on his way to a 31-ball 30 but Pant and Dhoni applied the finishing touches to seal the same with seven wickets and seven balls to spare.
