That's all from us, guys, for this game. But there is plenty of cricket left in the day. West Indies women are playing the first T20I against Pakistan in Karachi. Later, West Indies men will take on England in the second Test. See you then.
Hemang: "Can we get the score card for Kohli's first match.. just to compare it to gills" -- Here you go. He scored 12 off 22 opening the innings.
Manuel: "This is why Dhoni is so important in this middle order. "
Shishank Dahiya: "What an anti climax for young Gill. Not the kind of debut you dream of."
"I don't think we expected this much," says Kane Williamson. "But guys bowled well. It was nice to bowl them out for 90 odd. It was just one of those days. At the same time, a lot of credit to the guys for the areas they bowled in, especially Trent. The ball was swinging. The surface we explored really well with the ball and then chased down well. Today was an outstanding performance, but it will be a different surface in Wellington. Different challenge. It was great to have a win today. A nice little chase."
"I think one of the worst performance for us with the bat in a long, long time," says Rohit Sharma. You have to give credit to the New Zealand bowlers. There is something to learn for us, when conditions are not easy what to do as a batting unit. You need to grind it out at time but we failed to do that today. I don't think it was a bad wicket. It was a great wicket to bat on once you are in. But we failed to do that. We didn't apply ourselves. It's always challenging when the ball is swinging. It's not us, every team will find it difficult when the ball is swinging. We expected ourselves to go out there and put up a better show. But everyone knows what went wrong. Having won the series doesn't mean we should relax. We need to keep ticking the boxes. Good teams do that. Looking forward to Wellington."
Trent Boult is Man of the Match. "It was nice to see the bowling swinging," he says. "To make the most of the conditions was very pleasing. Satisfying personally. Colin from the other end bowled ten on the trot as well. Nice to bowl them out cheaply. It's pretty simple on a wicket like this. Pitch it up and target the stumps. We will put on a similar performance hopefully in the next game and make it 3-2."
Time for presentation.
6.29pm And New Zealand finish it off in just 14.4 overs. India's biggest defeat in terms of number of balls remaining - 212. Ross Taylor smashing 37 off 25 while Henry Nicholls remained unbeaten with him, opening in place of Colin Munro and scoring 30 off 42. Earlier, Trent Boult rattled India with 5 for 21, while Colin de Grandhomme also made good use of the swinging conditions to pick up three wickets as India were bundled out for just 92. It was a debut for Shubman Gill, who scored 9 off 21 and was struck on the helmet off Boult. He will surely have better days in his career.
