Khawaja and Short looked good initially but once Siraj removed Khawaja, the incoming batsmen could not carry on. Gowtham ran through the middle order, removing Handscomb, Head and Renshaw. Soon the visitors found themselves struggling at 78 for 6. Siraj then returned and cleaned-up the lower order.

Here is what Siraj said: I just tried to focus on length and line. I was going for the pace early on, but then tried to find my length. Once I found my length, I increased the pace. As this Australian side has many international players, I tried to focus on pace early on. But then changed my strategy. We have played here earlier as well. So the bowlers knew the conditions and that helped.
