4.50pm: Is that enough? England strolled to a slightly higher target a few days ago, and Trent Bridge is one of their most favouritest places to bat... But it's something to fight for, as far as Pakistan are concerned, surely? And a piece of history, too (see Mazher Arshad tweet). They did, however, make a bit of a meal of the last 10 or so overs; from 249 for 2 with Babar Azam having notched his hundred, they managed to score 91 from 64 balls while losing five wickets. Not exactly Daenerys on Drogon. England's bowlers were by and large expensive (Joe Denly's five overs for 27 was the most economical) but Tom Curran took 4 for 75, Mark Wood a couple, as late wickets stalled the Pakistan surge. Wickets will be what Pakistan need when we return... Join Miller again in half an hour to see if they can pull one back on England

Curran to Sarfaraz Ahmed, FOUR, backs away, clubbed back fine of mid-off, not the cleanest connection as Stokes gives chase... Roy is also coming round from long-off but muffs his attempt to field and sends it on to the rope! So Pakistan end with a boundary and England will need 341 to win

1
Curran to Imam-ul-Haq, 1 run, slower delivery outside off, drops back and guides one more to third man

"Seriously your sending Imam after that injury?" wonders Abid. I'm not sure it was the best call, myself

1
Curran to Sarfaraz Ahmed, 1 run, punched back, Curran gets a hand on it but the ball squirms away, there's a possibility of two... but for some reason they elect not to go for it, leaving Imam on strike

4
Curran to Sarfaraz Ahmed, FOUR, steps away, Curran misses his yorker, absolutely blootered through cover to the short boundary! The sound of that off the bat told you it was four

4
Curran to Sarfaraz Ahmed, FOUR, short ball, this time Sarfaraz gets it away, scooped up and over short third man for four! Cannily done

Curran to Sarfaraz Ahmed, no run, full and beating the bat as Sarfaraz steps outside leg and has a mow

Curran to bowl out

"Buttler is Danaerys....when she got MAD. UTTER DESTRUCTION!!!" You've convinced me, Nauman

Archer to Imam-ul-Haq, no run, another rapid bouncer, Imam again crouches out of the way... Possibly wide on height? Not given, so Archer finishes his 10 overs with 1 for 62

"Just see off Archer," thinks Imam to himself, "and then I can cash in..."
