That's all from our side from this game. See you soon.
Faf du Plessis is the Man of the Match. "I thought we played really well," he says. "It was a good toss to win. And to chase it down like that, against Sri Lanka's spinners on a slow wicket, I think that was pretty good. Immy didn't give anything away. He is really hard to face for a new batsman. If Quinton is scoring runs, he always puts the bowlers under pressure. It's nice to bat with him, he makes the flow really easy."
Lasith Malinga: I think we lost two wicket at a crucial time. That's why we lagged and ended up on 230. At the moment we have to analyse who is the set batsman and he should finish the game. We needn't do much different, I think.
Time for presentation.
Venu: "Srilanka is one kind of team which perform well during big tournaments. Dont forget they have reached finals many times. Current team might miss senior players but same team can rise up when it matters..upcoming WC could be a turnaround for these guyz"
Hasal Fernando: "SL have the fire power to stop this protea fire, but the worst thing is, the team management and selectors are reluctant to bring them to the international arena and are quite happy to stay with the experienced but tried tested and failed players. That needs to change so badly."
5:03 pm A clinical performance by South Africa see them seal the game with eight wicket and 11.1 overs in hand. Opting to bowl first, Imran Tahir and Lungi Ngidi picked up three wickets each to bowl Sri Lanka out for 231. While they lost Reeza Hendricks early in their chase, Quinton de Kock and Faf du Plessis mixed caution with aggression to steer the chase. De Kock fell on 81 but du Plessis stayed till the end - unbeaten on 112 - to saw South Africa home in the company of Rassie van der Dussen.
