3.55pm Quinton de Kock has played a superb innings, but at the toss, Sri Lanka would've gladly taken 235 all out. Now for their batsmen to show spunk and self-belief to try and fight it out against a quality pace attack. It ain't going to be easy, but at times of adversity, there's an opportunity for a hero to rise. Can someone stand up for Sri Lanka?
This looks much brighter for South Africa than it looked at 17 for 3. Excellent contribution from Bavuma until he was run out at the bowler's end. De Kock has batted superbly with the tail. For Sri Lanka, Vishwa was mighty impressive, getting the ball to bend back in and troubling the top order with the new ball.
Sri Lanka have called for a heavy roller to flatten the surface more. It's overcast and the fast bowlers will enjoy running in here. Don't go too far away, when we're back, Hemant will also be here to take you through the start of Sri Lanka's innings.

AC: "Sri Lanka has lot of batting issues, Only Karunarathne, Mendis and Dickwella seem to be automatic selections. Given the situation there should be lot of opportunity for young players to blossom. The funny thing is, non of the top four first class run scorers made in to the squad, this includes a guy who averages 67 in first class carrer where as mid 40s in as good as it gets in SL these days. Strange selections with"
