Seems to get an inside edge and while doing so, he also seems to step onto his stumps. A really bizarre dismissal that Madhevere, as he walked off, could still not come to grips with. Ngidi was all smiles, though, and he has something to show for his tidy start! 8/1

He takes up the invitation but comes up second-best, and quite comfortably at that too. Clinks it right off the toe-end and Hendricks, stationed a few yards inside the fence, makes no mistake. Bennett probably deceived in the air as well there, and South Africa continue tightening the screws! 55/3

7.2 stumps rattled again, and Peter has a wicket in his very first over! Fizzed through beautifully on a full length just outside leg stump. The ball drifts in and that makes Madande think he can drive it down the ground. The ball, though, drops on him late and then whizzes past the outside edge of his bat, crashing into the stumps soon after. Peter is overjoyed, as are South Africa; Zimbabwe, not quite! 39/2

17.1 and Burger gets rid of Burl! Fullish delivery hung up outside off, asking Burl to fetch it. He backs himself to do so and clear long off, but does not quite get the shape right. Plonks it off the lower part of the bat and that brings Hermann into play at long off. He settles under the high ball and sends Burl back after a brisk cameo! 121/4

19.2 goes straight up, and taken! Speared in again, full on leg stump. Musekiwa looks to manufacture something down the ground but cuts across it a little too much. Hendricks darts in from long off, keeps his eyes on the ball all the way and completes the catch just on the edge of the ring in the mid off region. Musekiwa departs with Zimbabwe still 12 adrift of 150! 138/5

19.3 another simple catch on the fence, and Linde, all of a sudden, is on a hat-trick! Linde pushes this in very full, and it ends up being a low full toss just outside leg. Munyonga has a swipe at it but does not generate the requisite power to clear the fence. Simelane does the rest at deep backward square leg, and Raza remains off strike! 138/6

0.1 popped straight back to Ngarava, and Pretorius bags a golden duck on T20I debut! Dug into the track outside off and Pretorius thinks he can swat this away to get off the mark in the format. The ball, though, sticks in the surface and Pretorius lobs it right off the toe-end. Ngarava cannot believe his luck, and Pretorius walks back utterly disappointed! 1/1

2.3 chopped on, and middle stump has been flattened! Back of a length outside off and this seems to hold in the surface again. Hendricks dangles his blade away from his body in loose fashion and only manages an inside edge that leaves middle stump in a mess. Ngarava is pumped, and South Africa have been put under the cosh early! 17/2

5.4 right off the toe-end, and Gwandu gets the big fish! This is a slot ball just outside off and to be fair to van der Dussen, it is there to be hit. He looks to go straight but the ball just sticks in the surface enough to meddle with the SA captain's timing. He chalks it and Burl, stood just beyond the ring in the mid on region, makes no mistake whatsoever. South Africa are wobbling in this run-chase! 38/3

14.2 off stump smashed, and Ngarava has his third! Slanted in on a length just outside off and this seems to skid onto the batter. Keeps a little low too and Hermann, looking to force the issue down the ground, cannot adjust in time. The ball is nowhere near the ball in the end and he watches his off stump flat on the ground as he walks back for a 36-ball 45 on T20I debut! 130/5

11.5 miscued, and Brevis' party for the evening is over! Full outside off and Brevis, with the way he has been hitting it, thinks he can go inside-out over extra cover. Slices it terribly, though, and that brings four fielders into play. In the end, Raza, running back from mid off, and Bennett, running in from sweeper cover, charge towards the high ball. There is very nearly a collision but Raza does just enough in the end to pull out of the catch and allow Bennett the chance to send Brevis packing. That could have been a very nasty moment for Zimbabwe, but they will take this wicket with both hands! 110/4
