2:37pm 58 off the last five overs and that has catapulted New Zealand to the highest score in this tri-series. Seifert and Ravindra did the heavy lifting earlier, with both of them registering sparkling half-centuries. There were a couple of passages, though, when the Kiwis lost wickets in close succession and that threatened to derail them. Fortunately for them, Bracewell found his range towards the end, and that has now given them a very healthy total to defend.
Zimbabwe, despite having the advantage of bowling first, never really got into any sort of rhythm. They conceded way too many in the powerplay and had to play catch-up through the middle. Ngarava picked up four wickets, but apart from that, there was not really much to shout about. They now have a steep run-chase in front of them, and they will need something special to hunt this down. Join us in a bit for the second innings!
Richard Ngarava: International cricket is always tough and you need to adjust, coming back from an injury. With the older ball (here), you sort of practice everything you want to do and execute as many skills as you can. You want to play with the big boundary. The pitches have been on the slower side. You want to mix-up and depending on who is batting, you adjust accordingly. (On bowling in the absence of Muzarabani) There is a bit of responsibility but we have youngsters coming in. They are also taking responsibility, so a bit of both. Responsibility is for everyone, you get picked to play for your country, you have to take responsibility.
Two balls left in the innings (barring any extras). Can Bracewell push NZ past 190?
