12.55pm South Africa should still be reasonably happy with restricting SL to under 200. They would've hoped for far fewer after having them 36 for 5, however. Now they have to hope the pitch doesn't slow any further, because if it does, this could get a tough ask, and SL have the bowlers capable of exploiting such conditions.

Top knock from Kusal Perera, who showed tremendous maturity and hung in there while still maintaining a brisk scoring rate. Thisara gave him support, and had that partnership lasted a little longer, this could have been even more exciting. But, at the very least, they have given their bowlers something to bowl at. We should probably get 5-6 overs before the lunch break. Shashank should be with you shortly to take you through the second innings.
