Manoj: "Unadkat has increased his IPL auction figure by at least a crore (or multiples) post this show. Congratulations to Unadkats bankers...."
Sreenath : "India was in dire need of a third seamer in T20I before this series... Now we got one.. Unadkat bowled well in all matches he played.. Burmah buvi Unadkat would definitely make it tough for batsman in death overs "
Jaydev Unadkat: Really happy with my performance. We started off well, myself and Washington in the Powerplay. There was pace and bounce in the pitch. We have bowled a lot of overs in the IPL in the Powerplay and it really helped me. The kinds of wickets [in Rajkot, his home] we have there you can really bank on your skills because it'll only be you out there, you don't get help any from the wicket. It has helped me out a lot. It's all going in the right track and I'd just like to pick up from here and go places.
8:34pm 18 runs off the last over and it's Shanaka, brought back in, who has hit the only sixes of the innings. Will that be the over that gives India more work than they would've liked in chasing? Another expensive day in international cricket for Mohammad Siraj. On the contrary, Jaydev Unadkat and Washington Sundar had very good evenings. They were near impossible to put away and their wickets in the Powerplay meant Sri Lanka had to try and stabilise in the middle overs. Gunaratne led that effort with a 36, before struggling towards the end of his innings. We'll see how Sri Lanka do with the ball. See you in a bit.
