5.48pm India finish with 289. South Africa can be very very pleased with that. At one stage, it looked like 340 was a formality, and then lightning struck, literally, changing everything. South Africa's quicks kept India to just 59 runs in the final 10 overs. But the innings belonged to Shikhar Dhawan and Virat Kohli, who powered through good batting conditions with ease again. Dhawan went on to hit a hundred, Kohli 75 and then Dhoni finished with a sub run-a-ball 42.
This is definitely SA's chance to keep themselves in this series. They need 290 at the Wanderers, if there is one ground they want to be chasing that score on, it's this one. Back soon.
