6.34pm Pakistan will be pleased with that score, 219 for 9 after 101 for 6 is not bad at all. Firstly, Sri Lanka were spectacular through the first half of that innings, setting the tone for the game, but Babar Azam cruised to yet another hundred, his second in succession, to give Pakistan a great chance if they can start well with the ball. He was well supported by Shadab Khan, who registered his maiden ODI fifty to carry Pakistan to 219 for 9, a score that could give a fragile Sri Lanka batting line-up a tough time. We'll be back for the reply soon.

Gamage to Shadab Khan, 1 run, a short delivery on middle, pummeled to long-on for one. The fielder picked up nicely and returned a quick throw to the keeper.

Shadab will face the last ball. Junaid's job is to get back for two

Gamage to Rumman Raees, OUT, taken at deep midwicket, but is it over waist height? A high full toss on leg, Raees swings again, but there is not enough power to clear the fielder at deep midwicket. Dananjaya runs to his right and takes a good, sharp catch. They are never easy to take. The ball is just below waist height

Raees. Pakistan will play out 50 overs, a good effort in itself.

Gamage to Hasan Ali, 1 run, OUT, just short of deep midwicket, for two, plus one? A full toss on middle and leg, Hasan doesn't get enough connection behind it, lands short of the fielder, who picks up and throws the stumps down at the batsman's end. There is an overthrow, but it won't matter because the throw has caught Hasan an inch short. Superb fielding. Saves his side one, Dananjaya the fielder.

Hasan Ali run out 7 (2b 0x4 1x6) SR: 350.00
