Shoaib : "From 58/4 to 230 that's not the bad effort from NZ at all."

Ali: "NZ should be happy with what they have got now after the kind of start.. and pitch will slow down.. santner will be key"

Shashank: "You know what's gold dust in today's ODI game, 75 dot balls bowled by Bhuvi and Bumrah among themselves."

rakesh: "@Varun Shetty.. it sounds good Axar's record in last 12 months but also compare with opponents and pitches.. Axar played almost in sub-continents pitches and weak srilanka team (sorry for Srilanka fans to say like that - 5 matches) but Jadeja in same period played in England (non-sub continent pitch) almost 5 matches in champions trophy.. So if you compare like last 12 months it is not worth" ---- Sure, but even if you remove the comparison, not a lot of players retain their spots with numbers like that. So you have to say it's fair.

4:55pm It was an innings they were never allowed to take control of, but New Zealand have done the next best thing - squeezed out every last run and avoided being bowled out. India were very impressive today, bowled with good plans, made use of the conditions early on and didn't allow the score to tick along. The strangle was sustained throughout the innings, barring the phase in the middle where Colin de Grandhomme played a classy cameo. All boxes ticked, you'd imagine, for India. Kohli said he expected the pitch to be dry during the day and that has been evident. Not a big score, and if New Zealand want to come close, they'll have to do it with the new ball. We'll see you soon.
