7.20pm What sort of a day has this been! So uneventful, and yet so eventful. Looked dead and out for the most part. Every now and then, when the rain would relent, they would come out for a few deliveries and the match would spring to life, with India's batsmen walking out as quickly as they walked in, and England's bowlers tantalising with the most prodigious display of swing bowling. And then, after nearly three-quarters of the day had passed with just eight-and-a-half overs bowled, the weather cleared up, the skies were blue, the sun shone, and India's batsmen laid an egg. Not one of them seemed to have a clue about what was happening. Even Virat Kohli had a control percentage of just 33. Stuart Broad had a rare off day, but England's bowlers were relentless for the most part, not giving an inch. They kept hitting the lengths they wanted to, opened up India's batting and broke through their line-up with devastating swing. Who knows how the weather will behave tomorrow? If it's as overcast as it was today, India's bowlers might have a chance. But if the sun shows up, and conditions ease up for batting, things will start to get murkier in the Indian camp. For today, this is all we have. We hope you enjoyed our coverage. It was a pleasure bringing it to you. Thank you all for your patience in waiting through all the long periods of rain and keeping us engaged with your comments. Be sure to be back here tomorrow for day three of this Test, featuring five-and-a-half hours of rain, and clear, blue skies for the final hour when India drop three catches at the slip cordon! Good night, and thank you for joining us.
