7:30pm Well, there's Nagraj's lesson in body language predictions. It is, in fact, Rohit Sharma who will open with Shikhar Dhawan. Slip in place for Willey.
WATCH (India only): It could have been a lot worse for England, were it not for Jos Buttler's brutal innings
AlistairDiamond: "I believe that the England management's stated policy, "Joe Root always plays instead of someone more suitable, even if that means we lose where otherwise we might have won", needs to be reviewed." --- Root averages 38 at a S/R of nearly 130 though.
Eric: "a top 4 compromising of KL, shikhar, virat and rohit. my heart goes out to all the bowlers that have to bowl to these guys together. hope they are indias top 4 at the WC next year."
Sangam: "All praises for Kuldeep. How about Umesh Yadav with an economy under 6 and wickets of Roy and Jordan."
Nimesh: ""gives him an earful as he protests" Who? Bhuvi?! Can't believe!"
Anil: "Looks like this series will be fought in the earnest spirit. Else rarely do we see Bhuvi giving mouthful. "
Vinay: "India give 44 runs in first 4 overs and 42 in the final 4. 12 overs in the middle went for 73.. Speaks a lot about the control exerted by the wrist spinners.."
WATCH (India only): The last of the wickets, as Buttler holes out to Kohli and Umesh gets Jordan first ball
WATCH (India only): England fans, be glad you can't see this... Kuldeep's three in four balls
7:12pm Tame. Tame end. England have under-delivered by about 30 runs. More accurately, Kuldeep Yadav has forced them into doing that. A five-wicket haul for him, brought about with complete control of flight and the variation. England barely tried against him - pretty much everyone out trying to go across the line against balls turning away from them. A great start squandered and not even Jos Buttler could take them deep today. Umesh Yadav with the supporting act. A very chase-able total on a friendly pitch. Nagraj says KL Rahul and Dhawan ran off to pad up, so we have some indication who will lead India's charge of this chase.
