Ireland captain Gaby Lewis' 92 went in vain, even as she pushed her side to what seemed like a competitive 238. But Rawal and Hasabnis made it look extremely easy, as India took a lead in the three-match series. Here's Shashank's report to sum the day up, as we bid goodbye this evening. See you, and take care!
Pratika Rawal is the Player of the Match: "I'm comfortable [while playing]! It helps a lot [having Mandhana]. I enjoy watching from the other end. It eases me down. We were just trying to keep it simple. We had a really good start. We just had to carry on the momentum. At the end, Tejal played really well. I'm just trying to do what I do best... just keeping it one match at a time. Whenever the ball is in my slot, I look to play big shots; otherwise, I look to take singles."
India captain Smriti Mandhana: "To bowl on these sort of wickets, which have nothing in it, the bowlers did a really good job. Fielding is something we can get better at. Having good conversations in the last two or three days helped... the way they executed the slower balls and bouncers. Every game here on, we need to execute. Some things we need to do behind the scene. Routine wise, every player has to follow it for the next seven-eight months."
Ireland captain Gaby Lewis: "I'm feeling good [after the injury]. I took fluids. Definitely some positives to take. Much better than we did in Bangladesh. I'm delighted [with my batting]. Credit to Leah as well. Coming from Bangladesh, the wickets were very different. It's about adapting as well."
Time for the presentations
Tejal Hasabnis: "I feel great. I could contribute to the team's success, and that matters. My game plan was pretty simple. I was looking at the scoreboard. I love chasing. According to the scorecard, my plan was there. [When on 49] It was just a matter of one run, so play according to the ball. That free hit which I hit gave me confidence. I'll keep moving forward and try to be consistent."
5.19pm A strong batting display makes up for sloppiness in the field, as India eventually close out a comprehensive victory against Ireland. Deol and Rodrigues will feel they missed out on a flat track against an attack that never really seemed threatening; but anyway, India's win was set up by stand-in captain Mandhana's rapid knock of 41, before Rawal's composed 89 and Hasabnis' quick 53* completed a convincing win. Ireland had their moments with the bat, and will feel they missed out on 20 runs. But ultimately it was India's day, and they walk back with a pleasing result. Hang around for the presentations.
Akshay: "Rawal has destroyed Maguire's figures."
Just three more to win...

She needs to get her action tested within 14 days of being reported. In the meantime, she can continue bowling

With no Renuka and Harmanpreet, India will be fielding an inexperienced side against Ireland, who have never won an ODI against them
