3:07pm Zimbabwe will be happy to keep Afghanistan to under 150, especially after they were 130-5 after 18 overs. That said, they will not be pleased that they allowed Afghanistan to get this far, having earlier reduced them to 58-5. Janat and Nabi led the resistance, with the former bagging his fourth T20I half-century. The latter batted with intent and allowed Janat to hold fort at the other end.
Ngarava was the pick of the bowlers for Zimbabwe. Muzarabani was not bad either, with both Masakadza and Raza frugal through the middle. Raza's usage of his bowlers could have been better and he might have been better-served holding himself back for the odd over. They are very much in this contest, although they will need to bat well to chase this total down against a strong Afghanistan bowling attack. Join us in a bit for the second innings!
