10.55pm: Time for some presentations, Mitch Hay is a somewhat surprising Player of the Match: "Good to contribute to a good score. Trying to give myself a few balls to have a look, then swinging hard and found the middle a few times. Lucky to bat with Daryl Mitchell and Michael Bracewell, they're so calm. Unbelievable few games with the fern on my chest, glad to contirbute to a few wins. Different feel but awesome playing in front of a home crowd, family here as well. Lot of pride in my keeping, training hard."
Sri Lanka captain Charith Asalanka: "Disappointed with the results and the middle-order batting. We should have done better. [Challenge?] It's about adapting to the conditions. But at the same time, they were brilliant. It's important to finish the game, no matter how you started. In the first game we were almost there. Again, disappointed."
New Zealand's Mitch Santner: "Great performance. First with the bat, managed to put them under pressure in the powerplay. I said whoever used the wind best would do well and we managed that. [Duffy] Great to see, every time I bring him back he gets a wicket first ball. Best way to slow the run rate is to take wickets. Especially with a big breeze, if you get predictable it can be easy for the batters. Trying to keep it out of the arc of the batters."
And that's yer lot for tonight. Madushka's report will be in the slot shortly, and we'll be back for more with the third and final match of the series, down in Nelson on Thursday. As always, thanks for your comments. Good night!
