51.5 gone this time, Roach strikes late in the session, gets him driving a length ball again, the thick edge is dying on Benn at gully, but he gets his tall frame down to pouch it 146/3
8.1 this time he decides to play at it, and pays for it, Taylor pitches it up, Rutherford comes forward and pushes, he pushes emphatically, not in two minds this time, and it is a thick edge that carries safely to Gayle at first slip, he was standing way back too 16/1
42.4 out of nowhere, a wicket. Gabriel bangs it in short, it rises high just outside off, KW pulls, and the top edge is taken safely at fine leg 120/2

54.2 appeal for leg before, umpire Tucker says no, Benn wants the review immediately, Windies decide to go for it, McCullum is caught on the crease as this carries in to him from a length, and hits the back leg, ball tracker shows it hitting middle near the top, there is no HotSpot, but there does not seem to be an inside edge, and after an eternity, umpire Tucker raises the finger, so finally, some reward for Benn, and no thanks to any Windies fielder 161/4
61.5 West Indies continue their resurgence today, Neesham flashes at a short and wide one, and Gayle takes the screamer at first slip 192/5
63.4 another one to Taylor, Watling pushes without moving his feet at a pitched up ball outside off and feathers it through to the keeper 198/6
67.2 Jerome Taylor continues to chip away at New Zealand, and Gayle holds on to another one at first slip, Sodhi is half forward as he pushes at an away moving full delivery, and thick-edges to Gayle 199/7
70.1 Benn in action right after drinks, Southee is given leg-before by umpire Tucker and reviews after consulting with Taylor, Benn tosses it up, Southee plays from the crease, he is struck absolutely plumb in front, ball tracker shows that is hitting middle 210/8
71.3 another one, Craig dabs at a rising back of a length ball, and edges it to second slip, where Darren Bravo takes a sharp catch low to his right 215/9
74.4 that has to be it, and it is, Benn gets his third, just reward after seeing so many chances go down off his bowling, Boult caught on the crease with the arm ball, he is given, they review it, ball tracker has that hitting the top of leg stump 221/10

2.6 what a delivery, Boult goes through Gayle and uproots the off stump, full, straightening, Gayle bends to defend, feet not moving, and plays inside the line, hears the death rattle behind 4/1
88.2 uh oh, Brathwaite falls at the fag end of the day, tries to drive this good length delivery, it swings in and he only succeeds in popping it straight back to the bowler 310/5
11.3 no need of reviews this time, Southee has cleaned up the nightwatchman, length ball, pitching middle, coming in, hits the pad and ricochets onto the stumps 16/2
30.3 lovely again, and this time Sodhi has something to show for it too, flights it again, pitches right on off stump, quite some turn takes a thin edge as Edwards pushes forward to defend, Watling snaps it up 109/3
79.2 Bravo holes out moments before the new ball, he is furious with himself, it was tossed up on middle, Bravo had a heave at it, across the line, long off ran in and took the top-edge 291/4
114.1 massive shout for lbw as Chanderpaul pads up to a legbreak bowled outside off from round the stumps, not given, and New Zealand will review it, there was a lot of turn on that, now then, ball tracker has that hitting leg stump on the inside, and umpire Gould raises the finger, what a big strike as lunch approaches 380/7
100.1 Boult strikes, similar to the manner in which Brathwaite fell, inswinger bouncing from a good length, Roach's upper body leaning into the stroke too much without much movement of the feet, and pops up a simple catch to midwicket 333/6
135.3 and third ball he strikes, Blackwood pushing forward to try and defend a tossed up legbreak, pitches off, turns sharply, takes a thin edge to slip, amid some atrocious bowling, he comes up with such gems, end of an extremely handy debut innings 456/8
136.5 flying take from Ross Taylor at slip, Ramdin squared up by a short of a length ball dug in towards off, thick outside edge races to Taylor's right, but he goes almost horizontal in the air to pluck it, with both hands too 460/9
137.1 Sodhi ends with four eventually, Taylor tries to go big, but tamely lofts this tossed up delivery for long off to run to his left and take a straightforward catch 460/10

49.3 Benn has produced one of the nine deliveries West Indies need. This is short of a length, and explodes from the rough, towards Latham's chest. It is turning in towards off so he has to play at it. And it lobs off the glove, it seems. Latham has walked although I will be interested in seeing if the ball hit the glove strap or his arm. Nearly unplayable delivery. replays confirm it takes the glove, and not the arm 84/2
6.4 Taylor strikes, McCullum surprised with a full and fast one hurled in towards the stumps, tries to bring bat around front pad, misses the ball, it hits him in front of leg, umpire Gould thinks and raises the finger, McCullum reviews, that is hitting leg on the inside, and McCullum is gone 9/1
60.5 lovely bowling from Roach. West Indies have largely kept New Zealand honest with their discipline and with their effort on this flat pitch. Slightly short of a length, slightly wide, Williamson reaches outside his body's line to feel for it. The ball holds its line, takes the edge, and Ramdin pouches. Huge celebration from Gayle and Ramdin. They reckon this is the big wicket 108/3
78.4 Gabriel's patience has paid off! Or it it Taylor's impatience? A mix of the two.. Length delivery outside off and Taylor goes for an ill-advised on-the-up drive - he was looking to belt the leather of this. He gets a thick outside edge en route to the keeper. The noise was loud, the noise was clear. Taylor reviews it in some faint hope.. Gabriel is miles behind the line, the edge is louder in the replay and Taylor has to go.. What a shot to play after all that hardwork! Eight balls to go for the new ball and Taylor has handed it in a platter to West Indies 153/5
65.6 oh boy. Is this the catch that won the match? West Indies well and truly on the home stretch now. An unbelievable return catch from Benn. Neesham is down the track to drive this well to Benn's right, but lithely - for a man Benn's height - Benn goes to his right, and uses his long right arm to pluck this. And gets up coolly as if he has taken a regulation catch. Absolutely superb from Benn 121/4

88.3 oh poor Rutherford! He decides not to drive finally, but this one is full and coming in with the angle from round the stumps. Rutherford shoulders arms to the wrong one - he didn't judge the line there at all.. it swung in too. The umpire lifts his finger - that was always going to go against Rutherford 176/6
95.5 there is the breakthrough and it's that short and wide delivery again! Sodhi looks for a cut again but this gets a little big on him, takes the top edge to the keeper. The new ball gets a wicket within two overs 193/7
99.3 Edwards takes a screamer at cover! Southee's entertaining stay comes to an end. It was a full delivery on the stumps, Southee looks to play towards midwicket and gets a big leading edge to the off.. Edwards had to react and cover some ground too as it was getting away from him, but he holds on to it with both hands after diving full length to his left 212/8
142.4 there it is! at long last, the wicket West Indies have been waiting for, a pitched-up delivery outside off, at long last the no-footwork batting of Craig costs him, he goes for a drive well outside off and that is through to Ramdin for an easy catch, end of a 99-run stand that was getting the West Indians antsy 311/9
152.2 it's all over, short ball outside off, bottom edge through to the keeper and the innings ends at 331, target is 93, anyone thinks there is a chance for NZ? Jeff Dujon says it is quite overcast 331/10
