5.32pm Things often go wrong when teams think they have Pakistan's batsmen on a leash and then Afridi comes out to bat. Mills and Boult stifled the batsmen early on and hardly allowed any scoring opportunities, complemented by their outstanding fielding. Captain Misbah started consolidating the innings and then Afridi propelled them past 200 with a 29-ball 67. Not a very competitive score, 210, but better than 127 for 6, for sure. We'll be back with the chase in about 40 minutes.
How good is this New Zealand team? Rahul Dravid and Graeme Smith discuss in our series Contenders, enjoy it here during the break.
