2.14pm Two terrific innings - one from the effervescent Paul Stirling and the experienced William Porterfield - have lifted Ireland to a great total. The wickets column doesn't do justice to the way Ireland batted. The wickets came only because of Ireland's late charge to a total in excess of 300. Abu Jayed's five-wicket haul the only positive for Bangladesh. We'll be back in 40 or so minutes with the second innings. Enjoy the break, and let's hope Malahide Clontarf stays dry when we return.
