The Lightning were really challenged out there by this battling Warriors side today. Once again the openers played very well to set the foundations that the rest of the team built on. Tim Tector was magnificent as he hit the ball to all parts of the ground and brought up an excellent century. The hundred today also means that Tim Tector is now the highest run scorer for the Lightning in the IP20. Not a bad day all round for him. The Warriors knew that they had to take regular wickets to put pressure on this impressive Lightning team, although they just couldn't do it. The Warriors have stopped the Lightning from picking up a bonus point win. Although that probably won't make them feel any better as they reflect on the match today. ou'll not be surprised to know that Tim Tector has been named the player of the match. I'm sure that will make his day even better. It's been great to be at the ground to witness the two close games that we have had today, and I'm sure that tomorrow will be even better. Play gets underway at 10:45am, so please join me then. This is Justin saying goodnight from Dublin.
