After a blistering start from Tim Tector and De Freitas, there was a bit of a late wobble from the Lightning top order. Before a few big hits at the end took the Lightning to the win. De Freitas ended up top scoring with a well made 70 off only 29 balls, although they left it very close to the line before hitting the winning run and picking up that valuable bonus point to join the Knights at the top of the table A six wicket win was built of the backof a great bowling performance, and Gavin Hoey has just been named the player of the match for his 4 wickets. Congrats to him. It's been a great three days down here in Cork for the first IP20 festival of the season, hope that you've enjoyed it as much as I have. The great news is that next week, we are going to be up in Stormont for the second festival of the season. Please join me then. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Cork. See you soon
