Well it probably wasn't as easy as they thought that it would be, although the Lightning have picked up the win, and get a bonus point for winning the game so quickly too. Tim Tector was the star with the bat, ending on a well made 58 before being Stumped. There must have been some nerves in the Lightning player tent as the wickets kept falling. They do bat deep for a reason and a quick fire 20 off only 8 balls. From Gavin Hoey took them to the win With Andy McBrine not being able to bowl due to being hit on the shoulder, the Warriors bowling attack was at a disadvantage. Robbie Millar will be happy that he was able to pick up three wickets even if his team did end up on the losing side. Tim Tector has just been named the player of the match, so well done to him. Well that brings us to the end of out coverage of the first game of today's double header. The second game today starts at 3:45pm, so I'll see you in a couple of hours for the Munster Reds vs the Northern Knights. Until then, this is Justin Smyth saying goodbye from Cork.
END OF OVER:15 | 8 Runs 1 Wkt | LEL: 122/6 (9 runs required from 30 balls, RR: 8.13, RRR: 1.80)
- Barry McCarthy1 (3b)
- Gavin Hoey9 (5b)

- David O'Sullivan3-0-21-1
9 runs needed for the win, can the Lightning do it in this over and pick up a bonus point?
